Lesson I learned today about work ethics: age is nothing but a number. It’s the experience that you possess that will allow others to respect you.
Mood of the day: super stressed.

So there are plans to get a new digital camera and I finally looked into it because I think my Casio is slowly getting worst? However, I’m having the biggest dilemma on what camera to purchase. The very first digital camera I used was Canon S45 (released 2002), which I must say is a very very good camera. The picture quality is great. You can program it, self-timer, and has a RAW file option. The only downside is the weight (really heavy), the battery life and it has a megapixel of 4.0.
So at first, I was thinking of getting the same series because I like all those options and it’s easy to use. But it turns out that they don’t really have the new models anymore. It has completely changed.. which is a huge disappointment because I don’t know what to get. I guess the next series up is the G series which I actually have my eye on for quite awhile BUT the price is over my budget. In fact, it’s even more expensive than the DSLR, Nikon D40, which is on promotion right now. I think it’s a pretty good deal but I’m not looking for a SLR though because… I am looking for a camera that I can put in my bag and besides, I STILL have not figured out how to use the family’s Sony A100 yet haha.
I might have to consider looking into Ricoh or Samsung but it’ll be hard for me to get ahold of these two brands in here. Ahh. But I like their sleek design though.. especially Samsung.
Oh, I also want one that has a wide-angle option…
At the moment, I’m chasing a deadline for a short essay that’s due tonight but I wanted to take a bit of time to blog… about my latest music addiction!
So I’ve always been a Big Bang fan since their single, “We Belong Together”. Well I wasn’t a big fan but I always thought they were quite talented and um.. good looking. Haha. But I wasn’t like crazy about them or anything since they are all younger than me. It feels a bit strange but yeah, their music is really catchy. I love it. And recently, Tae Yang - one of the members, released a solo album… and I’ve been quite addicted since then.
I’ve also been listening to Leona Lewis non stop. I didn’t know she came from X-Factor until I searched her clips via Youtube yesterday. I love her album, Spirit! And I find her songs really inspirational especially “Better in Time”, “Here I Am” and “Footprints in the Sand”.
I’m sitting here dreaming away. Dreaming of the sandy beach and the crystal clear water. Fiji. Maldives. Thailand. Malaysia. Fly Me Away…

Ways to donate to the Myanmar/Burma cyclone and China Earthquake disasters:
- UNICEF
- Red Cross

It’s really really unfortunate how we as a world had to experience two big disasters in one month. My best regards goes out to those who has been affected by the disasters in one way or the other.
She used to be my only enemy and never let me be free
Catching me in places that I knew I shouldn’t be
Every other day I crossed the line, I didn’t mean to be so bad
I never thought you would become the friend I never had
Back then I didn’t know why
Why you were misunderstood
So now I see through your eyes

Happy Mother’s Day!
I read on the newspaper today that there’s actually no Mother’s Day in Korea… but there is Father’s Day. I find that really strange because people usually acknowledge Father’s Day more. At the same time, I guess I can think of why there is Father’s Day and no Mother’s Day…
